Poll Observer Training Fall 2026

This is an intensive 4 1/2-hour, in-person session appropriate for anyone who has a role in the election process for municipal, primary and general elections. This session will be presented by the North Carolina Election Integrity Team.

During this training, participants will learn:

• The role and responsibilities of a Poll Observer

• North Carolina election laws and guidelines governing poll observers

• What Poll Observers may and may not do inside a polling place

• How to document concerns appropriately

• What to expect on Election Day and during Early Voting

Buncombe County: Saturday, August 15th, 2026: NCEIT Poll Observer Training in Buncombe County, Saturday, August 15th 2026. 10AM - 2:30PM.
