A Big NVRA Win for Voter Registration Records in MD.

This opens the door for other states to demand their voter registration records.

Good news! RITE won a big NVRA case today in Maryland, knocking out a use restriction that stopped our plaintiffs from accessing voter registration records. Significantly, the court ruled that the NVRA’s public disclosure provision clearly covers voter history records. Please see below for more.

Major shout out to Public Interest Legal Foundation, Judicial Watch (who also helped with an amicus), and Voter Reference Foundation who have all scored important recent wins on similar NVRA records access issues and that the court cites. Major wins for transparency!

Many thanks,

Justin Riemer
