Demand the US Senate Pass the SAVE Act - Bus Tour Coming to Raleigh!

There is much to do to assure the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act passes the US Senate in September. This is a crucially important piece of legislation that would plug the holes in our federal voter registration and election process. Currently, noncitizens can register and possibly vote. The SAVE Act would demand that every state require proof of citizenship to register to vote.
ATP has already gotten close to 300 signers to the petition. NCEIT county coordinators are also collecting signatures statewide. Please do you part. See below. Pick one (or more). This is what citizen government looks like!

Because the federal National Voter Registration Act ( NVRA) is silent on any requirement to submit proof of citizenship when registering to vote, states have been unable to require such proof. Whether intentionally or not, noncitizens are being added to our voter rolls. These include both lawful resident aliens and illegal immigrants.
